SAN ANTONIO — The Opportunity Home San Antonio is helping to build an urban farm on the East Side to combat food shortages in our city.
Once it’s finished, this four-acre farm will be one of the largest in San Antonio.
Opportunity Home’s president says diabetes is the number one health concern on the East Side, and the urban farm will hopefully help people get healthy.
People should start to see some of the crops harvested in six months.
