SAHA CELEBRATES 75TH ANNIVERSARY
This year, the San Antonio Housing Authority commemorates 75 years of serving the housing needs of San Antonio. From October 2-12, SAHA will celebrate our past, present and future, while focusing on moving forward with our strategic plan, expansion projects, affordable housing preservation and self-sufficiency initiatives.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) as one of nine finalists to compete for approximately $110 million in the 2012 Choice Neighborhoods Implementation grant.
MORE JOB OPPORTUNITES FOR HOUSING RESIDENTS
SAHA received a $621,000 Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to fund service coordinator positions to help public housing residents find jobs and achieve economic independence.
