Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers What is the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program? (click here to view video) SAHA’s Housing Choice Voucher Program offers the opportunity for low-income families to choose affordable rental housing within Bexar County. Freedom of choice enables the family to obtain affordable housing outside areas of high poverty concentration. It also offers participants a chance for a better quality of life by providing access to greater employment opportunities, access to better schools and after-school programs.
