The San Antonio Housing Authority is dedicated to helping families break the cycle of poverty and overcome barriers to self-sufficiency.

Elderly and Disabled Services: SAHA’s Elderly and Disabled Services Program links current residents with valuable quality-of-life resources and services in effort to improve senior and disabled resident’s quality of life. Each household in an Elderly and Disabled complex is offered an evaluation used to determine their needs. Appropriate referrals are made to assist residents in maintaining their independence and the ability to age in place. Referrals are given to programs such as Medicare savings, utility assistance, SNAP program, provider services, skilled care, and transportation services.
