The Towering Oaks Apartments is one of the nonprofit housing communities constructed in the City of San Antonio. Built in 1982 as a family community, it consists of 13 buildings that are two-story concrete buildings. Towering Oaks Apartments had a renovation completed in 2000 that consisted of replacing roofs & exterior siding; and the staircases were redone. The buildings are made of wood sidings and brick.
