APPEARING BEFORE THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Citizens to be Heard:
Citizens wishing to speak on issues not related to items posted on the agenda should sign the Citizens to be Heard roster prior to 2:00 p.m.
Citizens will be given three minutes to speak.
The Citizens to be Heard segment for Regular Board Meetings of the San Antonio Housing Authority will be scheduled for no sooner than 2:00 p.m., but the Board reserves the right to delay the Citizens to be Heard portion of the meeting to accommodate other public business.
Groups of citizens from the same organization are asked to share nine minutes to address the council on certain items.
Production of material associated with meetings of the San Antonio Housing Authority Board of Commissioner can be provided upon request. Please submit a Texas Public Information Act (TPIA) request pursuant to Texas Government Code Chapter 552 detailing the exact nature of your request to SAHA. Keep in mind that, as authorized by Chapter 552, SAHA may require a deposit as submitted in our good faith estimate of expenses associated with your request. The current fees for TPIA copies is 10 cents per page up to 50 pages, with an additional charge of $15.00 per hour for any request over the state mandated 50 pages. SAHA can also accommodate requests for copies of meeting documents prior to the meeting, provided the request is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the meeting. Any request for documents not submitted 48 hours in advance will be produced in accordance with state guidelines, usually within 10 days of the request.
If you wish to provide documents to the Board of Commissioners, please be sure to provide SAHA staff with ten (10) copies of your documents.
As always, documents can be downloaded from the SAHA website, www.saha.org, at any time after posting of the Board Meeting.
