   Junta de Comisionados

La Junta de Comisionados para la Autoridad de vivienda de San Antonio tiene autorización para estar conformada de siete miembros, dos de los cuales deben ser residentes en proyectos de vivienda pública y no puede haber en ella ningún oficial de la ciudad o empleado de ninguna de sus secciones. Los miembros son nombrados por el Concejo Municipal para servir por un período de dos años, con una limitación de tres períodos.

La Junta de Comisionados determina e interpreta las políticas que gobiernan a SAHA, sujetas a los mandatos y los límites impuestos por las leyes estatales y federales.

Los miembros de la Junta de
Comisionados no reciben compensación para su servicio pero si están autorizados a recibir fondos para el costo de viajes etc. Incurridos en descargar sus compromisos oficiales

Ramiro Cavazos
Mr. Cavazos
is the Director of Research and Economic Development at the UT Health Science Center.  Prior to that position, Ramiro served as the Director of Economic Development for the City of San Antonio.  He has worked for the Levi Strauss Foundation and the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.   He is a strong advocate for inner-city development, workforce development and small business opportunity.  Ramiro has served on numerous civic, non-profit, educational, and private boards.  He is a graduate of Weslaco High School and the University of Texas at Austin.  He has a Master of Public Administration from St. Mary’s University. 
Rebecca Galvan
Ms. Galvan
is a family law attorney in private practice.  Prior to entering private practice, Becky was an Assistant District Attorney.  Early in her career, she was a staff writer for the Lubbock Avalanche, San Antonio Express-News, and Houston Chronicle.  Additionally, she served on the Board of Trustees for the Alamo Community College District from 1986-1992.  Becky holds both an undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  She is the daughter of the late Carlos Cadena, former Chief Justice of the 4th Court of Appeals.
Richard Gambitta
Mr. Gambitta is the Director of the Institute for Law and Public Affairs at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he has served as the Chair of the Department of Political Science and Geography and as a professor of political science for 30 years. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs of Syracuse University.  He served as the Chairman of the Board for Goodwill Industries-San Antonio, and was a member of the reform-oriented Commission on Integrity and Trust in Government, under Mayor Garza.
Noah Garcia
Mr. Garcia is the
Executive Vice President of Real Estate Lending for the Bank of San Antonio.  Noah has over 20 years experience in banking and real estate.  Noah holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in business from the University of Texas at Austin. He is actively involved in the community and is the past chairman of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. 
          Yolanda Hotman

          La señora Hotman trabaja como Jefe de Programa en Program           Burned Out Survivors Fund. Ella fue empleada federal civil en           Kelly AFB y Community Outreach Assistant de Ximenes y           Associates.

Stella Burciaga Molina
(residente)
La señora Molina fue empleada del Distrito escolar Edgewood Ella ha tarbajado como voluntaria en numerosas causas locales como el Texas Department of Human Services y la oficina del Congresista Henry B. Gonzalez

Lisa Tatum
Ms. Tatum is an attorney with West and Associates LLP, which specializes in public finance law.  She was previously with the law firm of Escamilla and Poneck, and served as legal counsel to the SAHA Board of Commissioners.  She also served as an Assistant District Attorney for criminal matters from 1995-2000.  She attended Smith College and Santa Clara University Law School.  She was recognized as one of Texas’ Rising Stars – Texas Super Lawyers for 2007 in Texas Monthly.
