SAHA AND THE SEQUESTER


The Sequester has resulted in substantial cuts to the nation’s federal budget, including HUD funding. While SAHA is financially strong and sound, the recent Congressional action reduced SAHA's funding by $5.5 million.

SAHA and its partners are underway with planning implementation activities to revitalize the Wheatley Courts area on the city’s Eastside, after competitively securing a $30 million Choice Neighborhoods Implementation grant in December 2012.
