SAHA AND THE SEQUESTER
The Sequester has resulted in substantial cuts to the nation’s federal budget, including HUD funding. While SAHA is financially strong and sound, the recent Congressional action reduced SAHA's funding by $5.5 million.
CHOICE = COLLABORATION AND
SAHA and its partners are underway with planning implementation activities to revitalize the Wheatley Courts area on the city’s Eastside, after competitively securing a $30 million Choice Neighborhoods Implementation grant in December 2012.
In an effort to empower and equip families to improve their quality of life and achieve economic stability, SAHA is installing Internet and computer access in the community rooms of 30 public housing properties.
